This is probably the easiest decision to make througout the swapping process. Simply pick a title company, let them know you are vacating one home and moving into another. You will pay for them to perform title searches and to finalize your home transaction. Since this step is almost identical to the existing traditional process of buying and selling a home, any title company will do. We highly recommend you work with the title company that closed on your home previously, as they may give you a discount since your are a returning customer but also because they may still have access to your previous file and will only have to check on public records and liens since the last closing. Make sure you coordinate this with the other homeowners as he or she maybe able to get a better discount.
